building a led light for 4g

I'm planning a 4 gallon cube and want to light the tank with lead's. I'm open to building the light myself but haven't seen any builds for a light this small. some of my questions are:

any threads with builds this small?

is it ok to use a driver and only power a few less?

how many less to use?
