Building a stand for a Marineland 300DD

Does anyone that owns a marineland 300DD know the exact measurements for the tank and trim? I know that the tank is 72x36 but not sure if that includes the trim or not. I'm thinking probably not... Any help would be appreciated!

The trim on my ML265 added almost 1 1/2" to the length and width. I think the DD tanks use similar trim.

I have the 150DD with stock stand and can measure it in the morning. It will obviously be a bit shorter, but the trim is likely the same.

I'll measure mine this evening and then get back to you... but I'm pretty sure it's 73" wide and 37" front to back.

Not sure if you're using a new tank or a used one, but if it's new, be aware that Maineland will void the warranty unless the tank is on one of their stands.

Just thought I'd toss that out there.

Oops!

The 150 tank is 35 1/8" x 35 1/8" at the glass and the trim is 36 1/16" x 36 1/16". I would assume that manufacturing tolerances of both the tank and tape measures could add up to 1/16" or more.

You may consider calling Marine Land on Monday to get an exact size or checking out their website. I'm pretty sure they have all the sizes on their website.

Yea I may do that, I just concerned about any difference between the corners of the tank and the corners of the trim. I thought if I could get consistent measurements from people that have the tank that may be better.
