Building my Dream: It's a Miracles!

looking good!! what are you keeping in there???
:)
corey

Mixed reef, especially fond of LPS, especialy Lord Acans, lol. I was thinking of, in addition to softies and acans, having just one species of SPS, like just blue torts.

Congratulations on getting on with the dream!! I've been there before.

I'm looking forward to seeing this build develop!!

I received a pic today from Miracles:

Nice work so far on the stand!!

I need to build a new one but have been to lazy to draw it up,,,I think I'll just steal your pic!! lol

We installed our Miracles tank almost 7 years ago. It's been great since the day we put it in the wall. Derek was outstanding to work with. I would definitely use them again.

Smaller than yours, but a great piece.

Dougchambers-Beutiful tank!
I wanted to go shallow so it was easier to reach into the bottom, and since it was shallow, was able to go rimless. But, taller tanks definately have more aquascaping options. Trouble is, I like them all.

I hear ya... As I was up to my arm pit in water yesterday. I have two shirts specific for working on the tank that I cut the sleeves off of to keep from getting soaked. Part of the challenge is with our in-wall, the stand is almost 5' off the floor. It's a good thing I made a perimeter around the tank to stand on. I only wish we had made it bigger!

Unfortunately, we are in the middle of a major rebuild. Lost all the corals to algae. Shallow sand bed has no life in it so we've pulled all the rock and are in the process of reworking the sand bed and doing about 30 gal/week water changes trying to get things back under control so we can restock. Fish are fat and happy, but nothing else...

Good luck!
