Building my own tank

Well I can never decide which way I want to go with a build. Im constantly changing my mind. ADD at its best. Luckily I dont act on many of these thoughts or I would be broke! I did however start a stand build that is 24 wide by 26 deep. Im thinking of going with a 24x24x20(18). Something like that with an external overflow.

Have any of you built your own glass aquarium? It looks so easy on youtube, but can it really be?

I really wanna do this myself with a starfire tank. All about right sized glass and patience from what I told and black silicone which is stronger than clear. I will be watching for updates!

Sorry no glass just acrylic. I'm interested if anyone can confirm black is stronger then clear?
