And right sump.
How do you looking for this variant?
I have some doubts about bubble trap in left sump. Distance between partitions 6mm. And i am not sure about height their. How does it selected (calculated?).
Thanks.

So the first thing is if you only have a few MM between the glass in bubble traps microbubbles will pass right through carried with the current. Depending on your flow through the sump you want about an inch (~25mm) give or take, at least on the downflow portion. If you have room it would be preferable to have a separate holding tank for your freshwater top off. Be careful having two tanks connected with bulkheads. Have flexible tubing between them and be sure the two pipes can handle the flow.

There is enough space for making some more distance between glasses of bubble trap. Or do you mean I need to put sponge or scrap from live rock between that glasses?

Do you mean I need to make area between bottom and traps's glasses? But.. flow will stream along bottom and than... I dont understand the roll that glasses..

Is flexible tube more reliably than PVC tube?

Thanks. You said 25mm. Is it optimal distance?

You want the flexible tubing so you don't risk cracking/damaging the tank. My sump cracked within a month because I hard-plumbed, with pvc, my return pump to the bulkhead.

What he said, a single tank would be the optimal setup though

As far as if 25MM is optimal it depends on how much flow you are running through the sump. If you do not have enough space for the flow you are running through it than you will be watching bubbles go right through your bubble traps.
