Built-in illuminators for T5 tubes

Saw this product on the website and am interested. What do you think of the product? How long is the cord? From what I can tell, it is a bar with the ballast inside with the endcaps on either side and mounting brackets - is that correct? The T5 reflectors, are those for an individual bulbs?

It is not available in 115V. Yes, it is an aluminum bar and the bulbs are on either side, these are very common in Europe, many companies make lights of this style, they are virtually water proof. The only way they would work here is with a step up transformer or by converting the ballast which would be difficult because they use a special water proof rivet to assemble them.

Any chance of them making a 115V version? That looks much better than any of the retro stuff that I have seen available here.

I own the ST 3000, yes that is what you want to use. No chance of a 115V version. The sales are not their to justify it. I know it sucks, I have hit that brick wall on so many things I have wanted but sadly it is true.

Yes, it would be a special order and could take up to 8 weeks, probably much less but it could take a while.
