bulb/socket?

I have 2 175w Hamilton 14K bulbs. One of my sockets is not giving full power to the bulb. It is clearly not as bright as the other. I am trying to find a replacement socket, but they all say for E39 or E40 bulbs only. I do not know what this means or what mine are.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Have you swapped bulbs to make sure that it is not a bad bulb? Sometimes like bulbs are not always alike.
