Bulk Reef Supply Group Buy

Hey groupies, I've been running low on BRS supplies and was wondering if any of you were interested in starting a group buy? We will need at least 10 people to join.

Just FYI: if you haven't ordered from a BRS group buy, they send out orders individually and you receive them separately.

I would like to get some two part. Question though if you don't mind. Is it worth it to pay for their little jugs and pumps(the kind that go on the jug, not an actual dosing pump) or could I just as easily use regular gallon jugs and just spend 10 bucks and get the replacement packs? And if you don't mind, why both types of magnesium (sulfate & chloride)?

If you's serious about adding Mg, then you do 10:1 Chloride:Sulfate, if not, just do chloride.

As for their jar... i kinda like it.. but it's not necessary.

It depends on what you want to keep. If your thinking of lps then go with the mix or mix it yourself. I found that some sps, acans and favia pop more with color and more growth when I use both. Then just chloride. But not every tank is the same.

Looks like we only need 6 more people. I was thinking that people may be out of money after the swap. Also, maybe somebody can clarify but.. we only need 10 people to sign up right? They don't necessarily have to order if they don't find what they need?

Not sure about people not ordering if there on a group buy. but they don't have to be anyone around here. Hit uP ETRC or WTRC. You maybe able to find some there. Or the new jackson reef club.

Actually, I need both carbon and GFO AND 2 reactors. Can I get the reactors at the same time?

The group buy discount is usually the lowest price offered on an item. It's not a bad discount and can really add up if you are getting a number of things.

Yep this is still on, just need about 4 more people. If you could, pm your BRS account ID and Last name. I'm hoping to have this start next Tues, but if we can't get enough people by then, then we may have to postpone it a week.
