Bulk Reef Supply Group Buy

As soon as we can get 2-3 more people, I will send the list to BRS. From there, they will open the group buy for a week. I'm hoping to get it in and start on Tues.
 
This Group Buy is on! :dance:

I heard back from BRS and the group buy will start next Tuesday (2/1) and will run to Monday (2/7). During that time, you should be able to log into your accounts and see the low price structure. From there, you can place your order as usual.

I have added everybody that has PM'd me, so LMK if you don't see the changes come Tuesday. Anybody else that would like to join can still do so before the buy ends, just PM me.

Pandarian, I want in on this also. But i don't have an account. I am going to create an account and whomever i say referred me gets free points. PM me your e-mail and i will put you down as my referrer. Since you started the this group buy I think its only fair.

jlylec - I'm not too sure about that actually. I did put down that it was MTRC that was doing the swap. I would try and email them to see.

Location shouldn't matter. I have previously jumped on Group buys located in other states. It is a discount because you organized so many people to buy from them, location not dependent as they individually ship the items.
 
it has been a while, but i seem to remember we got wacked by a mod for doing distributed group buys. i do not think BRS cares. does anyone else remember this or am i insane? .......No comments Lindsey:)
 
This is from their website. "This removes the need to organize one big bulk order, collect all the payments, and distribute the order. And this also means Group Buys at BulkReefSupply are not limited to local clubs! That's right, because orders are shipped separately group buys can involve people from all over the country and Canada."
 
Yeah, its seems as though BRS does not care about the locality. However, RC does care for group buys being local unless it's in the vendors forum. Because I fall under organizer and will receive the infractions, I will like this group buy to stay within the club.

Fortunately, the BRS vendor forum has pretty frequent group buys that aren't limited to local clubs. For those interested in joining the buy but aren't from the area, check out the vendor forum :)
