Bulkhead installtion help!

Was the area around the hole clear of sand, etc, when you installed the bulkhead? If so, and you have the rubber gasket on the inside of the tank, tighten down the nut some more, but be careful not to over tighten (don't force it). See if that stops the leak. Keep in mind it may take a little while for any water that is there now to dry up, but you should see a stop to drips...

bit thing is make sure around the gasket is completely clean. even a grain of sand can cause problems. i have had some bulheads that i had problems with and some no leaks first time around. if worst comes to worst and you cant ever get a good seal, you can dump the gasket all together and put a bead of silicone in its place. its not permanent so you can get it off if you move.i have done this with a few of mine. just make sure the silicone cures for about 24 hours.
