Well, I got my Bullet 1 hooked up today. My house now sounds like the equipment room of a public aquarium. Awesome.

Anyone here use one of these before? Have any problems with the air valve? It's producing foam, and I can adjust the water level easily, but the air valve doesn't seem to do much. It actually produces more foam when I turn the air off. When I turn it all the way off, it obviously still has air going to the skimmer, somehow. All seals, o-rings, etc. are intact and everything is 100% clean and un-obstructed. Everything fits together properly. The bullet injector is 100% clean and again, not obstructed any way. The amount of micro-bubbles produced even when the air is "off" is amazing. I can't figure this out. I can call PM monday for support, but I'd like to skim over the weekend.

Using a Mag 12 for the pump. Skimmer is on a small stand I made and the drain is above water per PM's instructions.

Had a gasket problem. All fixed now.

Skimming very well now. Still breaking in some.

Thanks! Very happy with it. The build quality is great, the skimmer is already pulling a nice amount of goo from the water. Would definitely recommend one of these to someone looking for a new skimmer. Got about 1/4 inch of crud in the waste container.
