So I have heard different things about bumblebee snails from being a cool colorful addition to the tank to dont get them they will eat..... so what do you all say with your experiance? Are they good? bad? what do they eat? what do they do asides from hide all day long? I was told that they were good for cleaing up your LR is this true? I have three in my 10 gal. and was wondering what ya'll thought about them. Also if you had any cool suggestions for invert additions to my tank those are welcome as well. Just simple easy things for now, nothing that takes a ton of work cause I am going to have someone watch the tank for me for about a year and dont want them to have to do a ton of work on it while i am gone. thanks again

You should know they do NOT eat algae, but are detritiores.
Diet is similar to Nassarius except the bumblebees stay up on the rock and do not bury themselves in the sand.

Also, mine never move during the day, so unless you go searching for them hiding on the rocks, you won't see them. Cool shells, but not if you can't see them!

Mine will occasionally move during the day, I only have one. He does stick with the rocks and can really cover some ground. Great addition to keep the rocks clean.
