Are bumble bee snails reef safe i saw them at the greenwich aquarium and thought they were the coolest looking snails but wanted to make sure before i make an impulse buy. they almost looked like nasaurius snalis with a stripe painted shell. Any info would be great, thanks

I had some once that slept on the back wall and got covered in coraline. Didn't look that cool after.

Didn't bother anything in the tank though, best of luck!

never saw mine...lol found one in my sump like a year later though. they dont come out into the light often.

I have a bunch in my tank, because they look cool and they were the only thing my LFS had when I needed CUC. Never seen them near a coral but I've been told if there's any lack of food for them (detrivores I think?) that they'll eat other snails.
I saw all (5ish) of them on a striped trochus once but who knows what actually killed the snail, they may have just been cleaning up as it was the day after I added the trochus.
I know if I see them near my new (and third) conch they're outta the party this time.
But cute they are, I say I have too many but one or two per crew seems unlikely to cause problems and you will see them in your tank. I believe I'm at maximum bumble bee threshold. There's my conjecture, now I'll read the link
