burrowing into my acro

I was a little shocked to see a brand new small round hole in a tricolor acro when I got home. Right under the watchful eye of an acro crab. Then I noticed there was still something burrowing in there like a gopher. Would come out and dump material then go back in. The hole was about 3mm in diameter. Pest looked off-white with black head and black spot in middle of body. I panicked, took out coral, tried to pull it out with micro tweezers, then squirted in a couple drops of TMPCC (more than I meant too). Rinsed and stuck back in the tank. A couple little corpses sorta slid out. I got one with turkey baster. Looks sorta like a cocopod or amphipod, in between size of the two. I would show picture but not enough magnification on my camera to be useful. Any ideas? Could it be a fan worm larva or something. Seemed like it was making a home not necessarily eating. Burrowing was really fast. Whatever they are, I'm sure more will turn up.

spooky, something capable of quickly burrowing through a calcium skeleton is no joke. hope you find out what they are. sorry but you are now on my "do not get frags from" list. ;)
