butterfly banner fish

the butterfly with the very long dorsal fin that is..........really long!

yes they are ok to be in reefs the name of the butterfly is the Henicus....any other kind of bannerfish isn't reefsafe.

They are reef safe, but I saw mine eating feather dusters and smelling the clam.

They are hard to acclimate, and hard to get eating.
If you get one I will teach you how to get it going and eating.
