buying a dremel

I've been using Dremels for over 25 years in RC modeling and here's my 2 cents. As far as brands go I have only used Dremel, heard a lot of good things about Black & Deckers. Haven't heard anything on other brands though.
Definately get one with the flex shaft. Foot pedals are good to in case you need to turn it off right away(accidents happen). I disagree with the diamond wheels I think those are the thin ones that break and shatter all the time. Get the carbon cut off wheels instead(they have carbon fiber inside for strength) they work on the same arbor, just thicker, bigger and stronger.

Holy Cow......Tony ''Sharkonwheels''
Hey I see your back!

yeah man - work got busy, and I got really frustrated with that tank crash that killed every fish in my tank. Of course, the Chromis survived

Just to back up the Harbor Freight thing, do not buy any tools that you will depend on from them. They are good for things like sandpaper, clamps, etc...But the powertool and hand tool quality is very low.

I got the Black & Decker for almost half the price of the Dremel about six month ago at HD I am not B&D fan but this one so far no complains.
