buying a wavemaker

well... the title says it i just need a little help on picking one out. i dont want to spend a whole lot on it. i currently have two #3 koralias in my 40g (36x15x16) tank and i feel as though its too much flow i really have to fiddle with the powerheads sosand isnt blasting everywhere. im keeping mostly sps in my tank and zoas.
so along w/ the wavemaker i want to buy some new powerheads as well what would make a good combo with my size tank.

Why not buy a controller, like the Seio and just turn down your existing powerheads?

i dont know too much about controllers but what your saying is a seio controller will adjust the flow rate of my koralias?
please give me more of an insite on what a controller can do for me

The Seio controller will definately let you do that. I think it's better to get a Vortech MP20 that will give you better flow and control. You can sell the two Koralias later to recoup the cost.

i googled the seio controller to get an idea of what it looks like and it says "CAUTION:
This controller is made exclusively for Seio Super Flow Pump only
Do not operate the SEIO controller with any other type of pump
All warranty will be void if this unit is used on other pumps"

i would love to buy a vortech but they are a bit too pricey for me right now maybe once my corals grow out i can sell/trade some frags for a vortech

any other options?

The seio controller will work on the Koralias, all they do is adjust the electrical current to change the rpm of the props.
