Im looking into buyin a 75gal reef tank what should I look for? What kind of heater and wattage, lights, sump? Also I want to take my rock out of my 55gal and add it to tank whats the best way of doing this or should I sell the rock and get new rock?

i like the submersible finnex heaters. as for lighting you will need to decide what type of coral you want to keep. if your rock is in good shape then transfer it and as much of the water to the new tank make up the difference with new salt water. it's llike doing a water change (same effect)

And live rock is very good for the tank. I got rid of the old Wet/Dry thing and put all my trust in the live rock, and it is working fine... JD

You'd be fine with keeping your live rock you have now, and perhaps adding more if you upgraded your tank.
As for the lights, same thing as szwab said. It all depeneds on what you plan on keeping AND your budget. As for the sump. I'd suggest a sump/fuge all in one. A great place to keep macroalgaes, heater, skimmer, etc.
You can look in the DIY forum and see how people have designed theirs. I would possibly think about using your 55 gallon you have now for a sump/fuge. Just go to lowes and get either glass or acryllic, silicon the baffles in, get a return pump and do the plumbing, and you'd be good to go.
