C Horse decor

In the event I have trouble in getting some macro- I was going to supplement the decor with artificial plants. I have seen plastic or silk. Both are nice and very realistic. I am not sure what is safe with seahorses. I had seen some mangrove root from resin. Are these 'safe' as well?

I used plastic and would have doubts of resin releasing smth in the water or silk's durability.

Any thoughts on using driftwood? I have seen some that are mounted on stone. There is also Mopani driftwood. ( I do not think that I would want any driftwood from the Great Lakes as the sewage levels have closed beaches several times.)

If your going to use driftwood i wood seal it with resin. Wood will leach into your system. Sealing with resin is not that hard. I got my resin at Micheals. Was like $20.
