C. Marjorie

They are in the lubbocks complex so they shouldn't be too bad, and when you see the male flash and get the blue side you wont regret it at all.

I've always wanted one (such a beautiful fish)but don't want any bullies in wrasse land. The only person I've heard talk about there's was Jim (Huskerreef) and I believe his had to be removed.

Eat breakfast do you have any pics? I guess they are a little on the rare side since nobody wants to talk about them.

I dont have any personal photos, but when I see them offered for sale the males look like this one that is up on DD right now.

Though when they flash at other flashers and fairies the blue on the body becomes much more prominant as in this.

I believe you're thinking of C. adornatus; the worst aggression offender of the lubbocki complex.

I agree here, I think you'd be fine Brett.

I'd get something else. Mine is a female and will probably stay that way as my lineatus likes to show it who's boss. Wife says oh that's a nice red fish. I think there a lot of other wrasses that are a lot better looking and can be just as rare.

Also I think it's somewhat hard to find a true 'super' male.

As for attitude, nothing pretty easy going fish. Top 1/3 of the tank swimmer.

But since you have a wrasse dominated tank i think you should be able to see it start posturing right in the mix and try and show off.

I used to have a pair in my 50g..... they lived with a tusk and radiant wrasse. They both jumped out so a lid is a must.
Im on my phone now but ill dig up some pictures later

Here was my male.

Well unfortunately LADD's system messed my order up and I had to cancel it. I tried to change it to next Saturday but they wouldn't hold it longer than two days. Maybe next time.
I was excited too :(

LADD being the awesome company they are gote back on track and this little journey though delayed is back on track. My babies are coming on Saturday! :)

Moved these guys to the display today and the Marjorie is definitely bold, hopefully he doesn't get too bold. Everyone seems to be tolerating his displays so far but the Lunatus isn't too happy about them, lol

Glad they are doing well enough to be placed in the DT. What kind of wrasse was his buddy in QT? I'm not good at IDing flashers without them erecting their fins.
