C&P is a local petstore in christiansburg. historically, their coral selection has been kinda weak, but they seem to be getting into it lately and are worth stopping by if you are driving past.

ORA is a company that produces captive bred/aquacultured fish/corals. they have some very nice corals (obviously they picked the best of the best to grow out). some people don't like their stuff tho because decent availability = not rare. i don't care about rare, i just like cool corals .

I am with you matt ora has nice corals and they are easier to acclimate and keep alive.


Rare corals are rare because they are WAY over priced and hard to keep alive

They are placing their order on Thursday Aug. 15 if anyone wants to special order anything and get it at a cheaper price. Example I ordered some zoas from them a month or so ago and they got 2 colonies. Special order price 44, regular price 62.99.

the stuber acro is considered to be the first sps to thrive in a private aquarium. before then, it was pretty much regarded as impossible to keep. it was the 'hey, we can do this' moment in reefkeeping.
