I just tried taking pics but the sun going down was giving me probs i will get some up by 10 tonight!

Here is a pic of my most recent "stick" farm.

I would say my favorite inhabitant is this little guy:

Im still slowly chipping away at my basement tank's coraline growth while i was away, so my new Golden Drawf Angel picture (favorite inhab) will have to wait.

But considering just a 6 weeks ago this was a hair algae farm (i was gone feb, half march, half april, half june) i think she is looking pretty good.

ps-i liken mine more to a plate farm than a stick farm

Man people, lets see some local tanks!

here is my baby boy (thanks tswifty! la.com had another one up for 180 again! and my guy has started showing signs of activity when i feed already, i cant say for certain he is eating but he has bit and spit several times. and i think he was munching on the veggie clip a lil bit.)

And

And my 2nd favorite tank inhab (from my mom and dads vacation to florida last year, Mangroves! sweetness. they picked up the stalks on the beach (completely legal as long as there are no leaves!). Sadly they got me a dozen, and by the time i was sure they were going to make it in straight saltwater the others had died, but i got 4 anyway, and they will be down there again I am sure. I would like a tank stuffed with them!

Its official, he found the prawn eggs and now wants more :c).

I tell ya, nutramar ova prawn eggs. WOW everything goes crazy!

I feel so inadequate with my little 54. Plus it’s so sparse being relatively new. Plus, the sun glare resulted in bad pics. Plus…have I given enough excuses yet?
