C Shrimp Spawning Habits...

Does anyone have any good info/links on the spawning habits/biology of cleaner shrimp (Lysmata amboiensis)? I have a couple in a separate tank when I noticed one day that one was gravid (the larger of the two). It wasn't my intention to try and rear shrimp, but thought I would just keep them alone in their tank and see what transpired. I do have some experience rearing temperate Pandalid shrimp and thought I might see how far I could take these ones. However, the smaller of the two now also appears gravid. It was my understanding that when in groups most were males and the largest would become female? In this pair, 1 is 50% larger than the other. My concern at the moment is that while gravid, the eggs are not fertile. I will do some more detailed reading on-line, but thought I would post the question here.

Both are fertile, Lysmata genus shrimp are hermaphrodites so they all produce young. If you want to raise the young you will need to remove the adults as they will consume the larvea.
