C02 refills

Just got my CA reactor and need to fill a c02 tank. How much and where can I get a 5# tank refilled? Found a local place that does swaps for $27. Fair to midland?

Too much. Should be $12-$15 max for a refill. If your tank needs testing that price you got is correct. Whatever you do don't go to Ozarc gas in Arnold.

Yeah I agree, usual rate is $10 for the work and $1 per lb, 5# is $15, 10# is $20, etc.

I paid somewhere between $25-30 for a 20# tank at C-K I think.

Try delta gas or praxair don't think they charge that much.

I go to CK and have no idea what I pay - only have to refill every couple years.

I've been using Ozark gas fir a while with no issues. And thats like everything in this hobby :deadhorse1:

call ck before you buy a tank most places will only fill there tanks or one you bought from them.

I went there just a couple of weeks ago with a rusty tank from sitting in the cabinet for too long. I was worried they would not want to take it or would wan to do some fancy testing before the refill. They gave me a brand spanking new aluminum tank as the trade. No questions asked. Same guy as always at the register also.
