Ca. Reactor effecting display

Hey all,
I got my first Ca. Reactor and I was wondering about setting it up. My display has already been running for about 4 months and has approx. 10 SPS in it. Is there a way to go about setting up the reactor that will not disrupt my perameters? Has anyone lost livestock setting up their Ca reactor?

Yes if you do not set your ca reactor up properly you can kill off your tank. Either by lowering the ph because of too much CO2 or by raising your ALK way to quickly. I would ust start out slow, try using a bubble every ten seconds and a slow drip as well. Test daily so you can see what your adjustments are doing. Try not to piddle around with it too much in one day. When I adjust I do it once a day and test the next, but I make very small adjustments.

you'll be fine as long as keep water chemistry right.do more testing, once you know your range. ur set.=)
