CA reactor question...

So I have made the decision to switch to a CA reactor and have everything but the CO2 tank. Was looking for advice on which is "best" a 5, 10, 15, or 20 lbs tank. Those of you that have them how long do they usually, on average, last you before you have to refill them? Also where do you get your tanks refilled and where did you get your tank?

Five or Ten at most for your size tank. Unless you have a fish room is definitely go small. You'd change it maybe twice a year.

I suggest two tanks. So you have a back-up when the first one runs out. Size would be determined by where you need to keep it and budget. I don't think you can go too big. I bought my tank from aquacave.com but I'm sure any place that fills them will sell the tanks as well. Mine 10lb tank lasted almost two years the first time I filled it up.

just google industrial gas supply for your area. They will be happy to supply you with any tank and regulator you want. Mine just does a clean exchange of a 20 lb. tank for another. Lasts me about a year on a 180 with 60 gallon sump/refugium but initially probably way too aggressive on CO2 use
