CA Reactor question

I need to extend the effluent and feed lines on my GEO 624, they will have to be about double the length that the reactor came with.
Will this effect the performance in any way? I will be using a maxi-jet 1200 for the feed pump.
I sent GEO an email a couple of weeks ago, and I did not get a reply. My email was messed up for a couple days, so they could have sent a response, but I am not sure.

Thanks for any help.

I would not think it would matter at all as long as the maxijet can still feed it (not too much head pressure).

Effluent - No unless you are going up hill and create back pressure. Even that scenario would have to mean you are using rigid tubing, 90 turns and going straight up for 2ft or better.

Input, maaaaaybe. The best way to tell is with a pH monitor.
I don't see the maxijet performing too different with another 4ft added, if you are going like 6ft plus, maybe.

you can extend the hoses as far as needed

you just need a pump to push the water

might try the maxi jet and if it cant handle the flow (fade32 upgraded to a eheim 1048 for reactor the maxijet 1200 worked great at first)

thanks to all, I will watch the ph of the effluent. Hopefully I will have my CO2 bottle filled next week, the bottle I got for free was made in 1962! I guess they have to be pressure tested every 5 years and it takes a week to do the test.
