Ca Reactor Question

I'm shopping for a Calcium Reactor for my 105 gal reef and discovered there is a huge range of prices out there. I don't want to overspend, but I learned long ago not to buy the cheapest thing out there. (Still have an $85 skimmer floating around in my basement somewhere....)

Can anyone recommend a CA Reactor that meets that balance between quality and price?

I should add that I am fairly handy and built my own custom sump. I would be open to a proven DIY design to cut costs as well.

I think if you want to save the most money, a used unit or DIY is you best bet. Personally, I use the GEO618 and love it. However, have heard good things about Precision Marine and Schuran.
