Has anyone noticed a de decrease in coralline algae after moving to a ca reactor?

Its been over two years now and i moved from two parts.

Mag i need to get a new test kit and i replace gfo ever two weeks.

Most of the time this is causes by low mag. Once we get our reactor dialed in and do not have to test no where near as often as we used to the mg tends to get neglected. I have gone to using NeoMag in the calcium reactor and now only need about 1/2 a cup of mg in a 300 gallon sps system per month.
