Cabbage coral shrunken up

I moved my cabbage leather coral from the bottom of the tank to probably 50 percent of the way up. It is no longer extending and looks like it did when I added it to the tank. I have 4X55w of 50/50pc in a 55g tank with some led supplement lighting that is about as bright as 2 55w pc's visually (470nm)

I handled it a bit when I was moving it to make it sit correctly but is the coral just adjusting to the new light? been maybe 5 days and still isn't opening. How long can I expect the adjustment to take?

i think it will be ok...they tend to do this from time to time....(leathers)....i think you just made it mad .by moving and touching it...give it some more time ,,it will come back ok...

Could be the handling in combination with the brighter lighting. Leathers can be so fussy. I have had my toadstool and finger leather behave similarly when moving them. As long as it is intact it should be fine, give it more time :)

My cabbage sometimes has a glossy look to it and then other times will look like a cabbage would normally. I've often wondered in the lighting was a problem but it's still growing regardless.

What kind of lighting is needed for cabbage leather? Some sites say low-medium, others say medium-high. The cabbage I bought last week is not extending at all, and at times seems to be melting. I have 4- t5' 54 watt's on a Oceanic 156. Also water flow?

Can someone answer my question? Thanks
