CAD Lights 92 G Versa Plumbing Help

Ok guys trying to get some help here as I am a little over my head with my new tank. I recently ordered a CAD Lights 92 G Versa series tank as my first tank beyond a nano. I received it last week but from the feedback I have received the overflow and plumbing set-up is not ideal. The tank has a single corner overflow with (2) 1/2" & a 1" bulkhead. That would mean running a 1" Siphon and 1/2" return and emergency which I keep hearing is not ideal for the setup. What are my options?

I was thinking of either opening up the existing 1/2" Bulkhead to a 1" bulkhead and running a 1" Siphon and emergency with an over the top 1" return. Or the other option was to scrap the existing overflow and plug the holes and drill the back panel with a new center overflow. What direction should I go? Thanks.

your gonna drill a hole on the back? i just got my 68g versa up and running, it doesnt have the emergency overflow tho.. just two holes. drain and return.. i gotta say, im really enjoying my versa

Yeah I am actually leaning towards removing the internal overflow and capping the bulkheads and running a ghost overflow with a bean animal setup. Then most likely run either a single or dual return drilled through the back. I am just waiting till Monday for Cadlights to confirm that the back panel is not tempered. My tank sits on wood floor and don't want any more potential for a flood than need be.

Other than the less than adequate drain setup IMO the setup is very nice and I even got the ATO System thrown in for free as it was on sale at the time.

Now my questions is what size return to run and how many? Maybe a single 1" or duals?
