Cade Tank Owners: Sump No Flow

Hi all,
I recently upgraded from a 3ft to a 5ft Cade HL1500 tank.
One major difference I noticed in the sump was the flow rate inside the sump (not the flow rate returning to the tank).

There is not much water flow movement in the sump/refugium compartment.
Should i add a small wave maker there? Or just leave as is?
