How many people would be interested in joining a Canton/Akron area club?

I would be interested. However I work second shift so I wouldn't be able to attend weekday evening meetings.

Just a thought, if you can get it together by the Lear swap why not get a table and try and recruit members at the swap. I'm guessing you get to meet almost all over your target members there. Just tossing out the idea for you guys.

Or Canton Area Reefers. Or CAR lol. But seriously we do need a name. I would be ok with doing a table at LEAR but we need to get established first. We need to make sure what ever name we puck is available for a web site too. I am in the IT field so I know web people that can create a site for us.

AARK.com and CARK.com are taken. CAK Reef Keepers or CAK-RK.com is available, I am not sure I like it but I am open to suggestions.

CantonAreaReefKeepers.com is available, so is AkronAreaReefKeepers.com if we want a long domain name. Or CAKReefKeepers.com to shorten it a little. I like CAKReekKeepers.com the best so far of the domains I have found. But again, I am open to suggestions. I just feel if we do a table at LEAR we should have a name and web site, and it will take some time to get a site created.

Oh, and I should mention that if a non-profit organization is in the works, I would be happy to help the cause. Not only am I a reef hobbyist, I am also an attorney in the Canton area.

I would be good with either date, but the 30th works better as C-Sea would be meeting the 22nd.

I will book the hall for March 30th and will supplies some refreshments as well.
