can you use a Co2 tank from a soda or brewing system for your cal. reacter?

yes, at least they are sterile. I was told to look for one that was food safe.

I have read that the aluminum ones don't work well is tis true?If so what type is the best/ also cane you use the same regulators?

I have been using an aluminum tank for about the last four and a half years or so. No problems here.

Never ever heard that there is a problem with them. And I used to sell them.
