Calcium chloride flakes

I want to use calcium chloride to rise SPS, but on my city only I found it on flakes (size around 6mm-1mm), could be ok?, somebody has experience with this format?

I use CaCl2 pellets. I just drop a pinch twice a week and a little of limewater every week. I monitor my calcium level and dKH weekly.

I use the flakes. One of the local reefers has a source through his work on 50lb bags so we all bought a bunch of bags and split it up. mix it in ro/di water first and dose according to the calc on the chem forum. It works well for me especially since the stuff is only $20 a 50lb bag! I believe it was the Dow Flake Extra
