calcium chloride or calcium hydroxide

Calcium chloride is useful for boosting calcium only, or used with other materials like baking soda in my DIY two part.

Calcium hydroxide is used to make limewater, and boost calcium and alkalinity in an appropriate ratio to balance calcification by corals.
