Although I still haven't figured out the benifit of the calcium cloride.Maybe to keep the water from freezing,so that wouldn't help you.lol...But it still does a pretty good job rotting rims out from the inside.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but Randy I found Calcium Chloride at Leslie's pool supply. The bucket says it is 97 percent Calcium Chloride. Is the other 3 percent a cutting agent or something? Is that pure enough assuming it's accurate? Or should I switch to something else?
Thats the same concern that i have, the one that i found says is 80% calcium chloride dehydrate. The chemical formula read Ca CI2-2H2o so I guess that the remaining 20% its water.
