Calcium Dispenser Question

Roger, I have a question for you about the calcium dispenser. I have read several posts where you say you should refill the dispenser for every 7 gallons that you go through.

Here is my setup. I have a 120 gallon tank (140 gallons total volume). I think that I am evaporating between 2-4 gallons per day (depending on temp and humidity).

I have a spectrapure LLC hooked to my RO/DI unit. This is set on a timer to fill the Tunze storage container. The timer decreases the posibility of an overflow in the storage container even though the LLC has two auto shutoff systems which should stop any chance of overflow.

In the Container I have my ozmolator and calcium dispenser. My problem is that I don't really know when I have gone through 7 gallons since I am autofilling my container. My guess is about every 2-3 days. Should I just refill the calcium dispenser weekly or do I need to take additional measurements of my actual top off usage? Also, how much Kalk should I put in the dispenser? Should it really be based on how much water I am topping off or on my total volume of water in the tank? I would think that I would want a certain amount per week based on volume. Am I missing something? I appreciate your input and love all of the Tunze Products that I have.

I would add 4 teaspoons every 4-5 days. Based on your evaporation rate this should be a good amount and last through that time.

Thanks Roger, I really like the dispenser so far. It is slowly moving my PH up. I will be checking my other levels tomorrow when I pull out the test kits.
