Ok, I've read the article on here about calcium and alkalinity and I'm not any clearer than the gazillion times that I've asked for explanations at the local store. It's rocket science to me for some reason. I'm not sure the employees at the local aquarium store here really get it either. Could somebody explain it to me like I'm 5 years old?
I'm using NatuReef alkalinity plus and hardness plus.
So....If Calcium is low, do I add equal amounts of alk + and hardness +?
If Calcium is too high, do I add alk +?
Also, in plain terms - how do the two relate to ph.
