You should strive to increase calcium to around 420. You have to test and dose magnesium as well. If your mg is too low you will not be able to increase your calcium. Raise mg first.

your calcium at 360 is perfectly fine and will not limit anything

I would also check the mag though to be sure you are in line

bumping it up a touch wouldnt hurt either but it certainly doesnt need kept abvove 400. the higher you keep it the more it builds up on your pumps

Boost you calcium to the level that you want to maintain it at with Calcium Chloride. Then maintain it with Kalk.
Try out the chemistry calculator to give you an idea of how much to add.

Yes it is limiting to one factor. Optimal growth.

yeah you need to raise the calc to 420 or so. slow drip kalkwasser mixed with RO 4 nights a week. it should raise in no time. only slow drip at night for best results.

I drip kalk with my top off every other week. Do you think I should drip a gallon a week of kalk? Nobody answered my question about raising calcium, will that push my KH up?

I read thread on New To The Hobby that a long time member said he does not add anything to his tank but water changes. Anyone else agree with that.
