Calcium level too high

I been dosing calcium in over the past couple of weeks and I come to realize I been reading my Salifert results incorrectly. what I thought was 350ppm is actually over 500ppm. Its probably higher then that. Since I thought the level was around 350ppm I was dosing to get it higher with no change. Then I found out the actual truth. Question...Am I going to kill anything in my tank. I have a small amount of sps and a lot of lps..I guess I will just watch my alk level until the Calcium drops..Any suggestions ? Thanks....

Wooosh ! I just did a 40% water change and calcium is down to 380 ppm. I alk is hovering at 8.0. Looks like the water change was the bomb..Thanks for the suggestion !!

You should also be watching your pH as you change your dosing... big swings in calcium while keeping alk the same could mean big pH changes too.
Water changes are fine though since the new water is already balanced.
