Calcium levels

Would regular water changes be enough to keep the calcium appropriate for a clam?

If not, what are some additives that I can use?

I dont have room for a kalk reactor.

I DO have a Kangaroo Dosing pump that I can use somehow.

What about dripping Kent Liquid Calcium or some similar additive?

Any way of having a top-off reservoir with fresh water and a bottle of liquid calcium or B-ionic added to it slowly dripped in with the dosing pump?

Trying to keep this simple so my girlfriend cant easily maintain when I go away on business trips...not to mention make MY life easier when I AM around!

Thanks!

that really depends on your system and what it pulls out of the water.
How about filling your top off resevoir with limewater and using your dosing pump? That sounds like the simplest way to go about it.

I add two-part B-Ionic to keep my calcium levels around 425. In my 54 corner tank, 10% weekly water changes alone haven't provided enough calcium to keep everything growing and healthy. I don't drip the B-Ionic, I just measure out one milliliter per four gallons and dump each component into the heaviest current area to rapidly mix it into the water.

Thanks for the replies. The B-ionic sounds like the easiest way. I have read about limewater as well. Either way it looks like I can just have a seperate reservoir and let the dosing pump do the work. I think the hardest part would be titrating to get the right drip rate for the right calcium level.

Any other suggestions or anyone using a dosing pump to do the work?>
