Calcium levels

What do you recommend for calcium level in an SPS tank. Please keep in mind that I don't want to drive it up too high because it will make it hard to keep my ph up.

Most people say 450ish, but as long as it is over 380 corals will grow.

Seawater around reefs tends to be close to 420 ppm. Anything around 400-450 ppm seems to work really well.

You want to keep it above 410...But anything over 440 has not shown extra growth, people tend to keep it up in the 450 range so they always have enough as corals use it up and deplete it.

I like my CA at 420, and Alk at about 9.0 That is about "balanced".
