You can do either, I usually buy local in order to support the LFS.

I looked locally here in NPB for his preferred chemicals and could not find them.

Ended up purchasing through brs, free shipping too.

My pool store carries this in large bags. Just not sure on the quality or purity. Maybe try there. But I generally just order from BRS when i used to dose.

I tried the pool store, and even an industrial supplier. I found that there was too much impurity. I got a black ring in the bucket each time I tried with both products
