i have just purchased a hagen calcium test kit, i followed instructions perfectly but i couldn't get a result as the calcium was very high, i was using all the fluid up in the test kit, so i stopped at about 500-600 mg/L. are calcium levels this high dangerous at all? also i am using calcium carbonate as a substrate in my tank and sump. (lots of it!!!)this is probably why the levels are so high.
