Calcium reactor for 300G

Well hello there!

I need some recommendations for a calcium reactor, will be used on a 220G display, 80G sump. I like the GEO's, but have no idea which one to choose.

Would the 618 be up to the task? It lists for a 350G, but I'm always skeptical on manufacturers ratings.

I'd like to keep it under $600 if possible?

Any other brands worth mentioning?

It will depend on what you keep and how much demand for calcium there is.

618 is probably suitable though.
Schuran, Korallin, MRC, MTC, ReefTek, Deltec, H&S, GroTech... long list :)

Thanks for the replies.

Will most likely be a mixed reef, he's not gonna want it filled up with SPS, but he'll want some, I'm sure of this.

mako you wanna shoot me some pics and a price?

Mike, Mako may be busy but here is my Deltec 601S with Eheim Mod. The original Deltec 601S come with the Aquabee 3000. The price is $839

I have a reactor from this company. the guy lives about 30 minutes from my house and is awesome to deal with. He will customize anything, and his stuff is top notch quality. This reacotr will more than handle what you want and you can't beat the price.

You definitely can't beat the price for the quality from Scott at Aquatic Systems Design. He can customize anything you want.

I am setting up a similar sized system (238g display, 100g sump, 30g frag tank), and am looking at the AquaC RX1, I would be an early adopter, but it looks really cool.
