Does media go bad? Im using A.R.M fine on the second chamber and extra course on the main chamber

It shouldn't. It's just dead coral skeletons.

as long as the water within it doesnt go stagnate (shouldnt happen if the reactor is in use)
then all should be fine. if you take it off line, i would rinse and dry the media.
just my thought on it though
