calcium reactors do I need or not

Have a 120 that iam setting up as a reef tank will I need a calcium reactor are they realy nessary or does adding calcium your self work and what do they do.

You can add calcium yourself with a 2-part like B-Ionic or its 2-part equivalent. These articles might help:
