Calcium won't rise

Why would my calcium not rise? It is testing at 340ppm. It was around 200 when I first tested it about two weeks ago. I purchased the seachem calcium liquid and add what it recommended. I checked the calcium the next day and it was at 340ppm. I have added more of the calcium raiser every other day and it won't go above 340. Could my magnessium level cause this? I don't have a magnesium test kit so I have no clue what it is.

i will give you some of mine i cant get it down. Had a bad spike over 600 right now. Crazy

Yes, your MG level must be up otherwise CA won't raise. Typically 3x1 ratio - my mg stays around 1400 and calc around 440.

Before you do that, borrow mine if you want. I don't use it enough, anyway. That way you can order one online and get it cheaper. I think Drs. Foster and Smith are having a big sale on API test kits right... or that's what Rick said anyway.
