Calcium?

Is this a good way to provide enough calcium. 1 pill a week is what the previous owner was dosing 37 gallon tank!

I don't think a vitamin C pill is going to provide much calcium. The ingredients don't list any. The vitamin C can function as a form of organic carbon dosing, to help reduce nutrient, although I wouldn't use that form.

A 2-part like B-Ionic or other similar products is an easy way to get started with calcium and alkalinity doses. There's a DIY version, as well, if you are interested in that.

Is it not vitamin c as you get in oranges, and black currents?:hmm5:. Any calcium should be in a very pure form, (reef grade) to prevent unwanted stuff entering into your tank.
